Governance
The governing body has a range of duties that includes a general responsibility for the Academy with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement.
Parents (including carers) of registered pupils at The Cheadle Academy are eligible to stand for parent governorship. Parent Governors are elected by other parents for a four year term.
The Governing Body has a duty to monitor the work of the Academy, especially its performance, and to be a critical friend through working in partnership with the Principal.
