The Cheadle Academy

At The Cheadle Academy, the percentage of students attaining A*- C grades that include English and Mathematics stands at 60%, demonstrating an extremely pleasing and significant increase from last year of 10%.

The Cheadle Academy is also celebrating its highest Ebacc results ever, topping the National Average.  And, with a record number of students notching up individual successes, it is clear to see that The Academy is making excellent progress.  Of particular note this year is Phoebe Hill’s impressive 13 GCSEs, including 12 A-A*s, together with the results of Ethan Asplin, Billy Machin, Joshua Hill, Megan Dawson, Ben Richardson, Jasmin Butler, Kirsty Safhill, who also attained 13 GCSEs at A*-C  apiece.

Principal, Neil Jamieson said, ‘I am absolutely thrilled at the very positive increase in the GCSE results achieved by students at The Cheadle Academy this year. In less than a year the changes we have implemented and strong partnerships we have created between students, parents and the school have clearly made a huge impact in helping The Cheadle Academy on its journey to becoming an outstanding school.’
