Raining Celebrations at The Cheadle Academy’s Prom Night!

Undeterred by the rain, students arrived in style, in a convoy of classic cars, heavy goods and farm vehicles, and a camper van, at the stunning location afforded by Heath House in Tean, for The Cheadle Academy Prom Night.

Looking totally fantastic and scrubbing up more than just a little well, students posed for photographs before taking to the beautiful marquee and enjoying a wonderful meal.  In time honoured tradition, embarrassing yet touching speeches followed and then it was time to take to the dance floor! 

Everyone at The Cheadle Academy is extremely proud of these students. Principal, Mr Neil Jamieson said, ‘I would like to wish our Year 11s every success in August, for their results, and good luck with their future endeavours’.

After dancing their hearts out, Y11 students told us that this had been a very special evening and one they would remember for a long time.
